“BASF AUTOMOTIVE” was commissioned for the entrance of the BASF Automotive Coatings Research Center. Imagery in the design is suggestive of the type of coatings formulation and testing work done at this facility. A key aspect of this project was that all BASF automobile paints were used on the sculpture.
