“A COMMON THREAD” was commissioned for a convex curved wall in the atrium lobby of Licking County Memorial Hospital. Historical photographs of the previous hospital buildings and its staff contributed to the design of the sculpture which celebrated the hospital’s centennial year in 1998.
The title is a reference to both the unified sense of mission among the various health care disciplines and to the compositional device of the long ribbon like red lines that unify the design.
