“EAT YOUR BEANS!” is a fun wall sculpture commissioned by the Florida Art in State Buildings Program for a waiting room of the Tampa Children’s Medical Services Clinic. The subject matter and intense color scheme is designed to appeal to children and provide a welcome distraction and conversational focus point for a child waiting in a tense and uncomfortable setting. Of all the food items depicted there is only one that I can imagine a mother would have to admonish a kid to eat – beans!
