In February 2019 I installed a new relief sculpture at the University of North Dakota – Grand Forks. The title of the work, “INTERSECTIONS” is a reflection on UND campus culture and the high level of student traffic found in the Wilkerson Commons building where the sculpture is sited. The sculpture was installed in 6 overlapping sections.

Having lived in Northern Michigan since 1980 I believe I’m fairly hardened to winter weather, but February in Grand Forks, ND is a category unto itself. Even without wind chill the temperature was -26 F at one point. It was enough to make me look forward to my snowblower and shovel back home in Petoskey.
