For the summer of 2018 I am in the studio fabricating a commissioned wall sculpture for the University of North Dakota – Grand Forks. The 7′ x 16′ relief sculpture, which will be installed in the new Wilkerson Commons building, is a reflection on the activities and social aspects of the campus.

This “wire-frame” drawing depicts the 100+ individual overlapping pieces of laser cut aluminum that, when finished, will become a colorful focal point of a busy intersection of student life at UND. As the work progresses I will post additional pictures of the assembly process.
