I am currently at work on a metal relief sculpture frieze that will span the entire width of a gymnasium wall at the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind in Salt Lake City. The work, commissioned through the State of Utah Public Art Program, measures about 5’ high x 93’ long and will be installed in 15 modular sections that are being fabricated in my Michigan studio. Installation is scheduled for the Summer of 2017.

In early 2015 I was commissioned by the Cleveland Regional Transit Authority to make 2 pictorial relief sculptures for the exterior of a new commuter rail station. The Brookpark, Ohio train station is in the heart of Cleveland’s industrial area and faces a large Ford Motor Company engine plant. Imagery in the artwork pays homage to area’s industrial past, present and the manufacturing workers who are served by the rail station.

Both of the reliefs, titled “CLEVELAND AT WORK” are complete but due of construction delays I have been able to install only one of the sculptures so far. The station is scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2017 so the second sculpture will be going up soon. Once that is done I will get some pictures of the project up on the website.

In the meanwhile, here are a few pictures of the project as it is underway-
