In May of 2017, after a long construction delay on the Cleveland Regional Transit Authority’s Brookpark train station, I was able to install the second exterior relief sculpture on the West entrance to the station. The Brookpark station however did not officially open until August of 2017. This smaller sculpture reflects on the history of women in industry during the 2nd World War era. Many of the factories that surround the CRTA’s Brookpark Station were engaged in defense manufacturing at the time. The larger of the two sculptures commissioned for the project (at the East side entrance to the station) was installed in November of 2016.
